I had an exceptional stay at a lovely place in Santana. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful, quickly resolving any issues that arose, like the mosquito problem. The apartment was fully equipped with everything I needed, including a washing machine and hairdryer. The view was absolutely breathtaking, with easy access to a great restaurant nearby and beautiful levadas for hiking. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The second floor apartment is recommended due to its roominess and big windows that allow in plenty of light. The owner, Maria, is attentive and responsive to guests' needs. Comfortable pillows and mattress. The north side of the island provides a refreshing break from the heat. Nice views from the windows.
